Musée Légitime

The keys of several museums and art institutions where the artist has worked have been copied and presented as a set of keys hanging on the wall, waiting to be used. The invitation to the audience is both poetic and literal: to reclaim the art institution by starting from its most basic element, the keys to its doors.

This is an ongoing project. In this instance, three keys, one to a storage room for display furniture at MACBA and two from the Palacio Velázquez in Madrid, are given to the museum in a hat as part of this action.
