A braid of hair from one of the artist’s drawing students is presented as a work for the museum, accompanied by a small booklet that reflects on the significance of braids, the fairy tale of Rapunzel, and the various traditions transmitted across generations, considering forms of learning and inheritance, as well as understanding, misunderstanding, and their transformations.
