A paper sculpture of a fly at natural scale, presented for an exhibition honoring the retirement of a librarian from an art institution in the south of the Netherlands. The librarian traditionally ordered a glass of milk every afternoon at half past twelve. During the three-month exhibition, the artist placed a fresh glass of milk each day beside the door of the library. A handmade paper fly kept watch next to it. After the exhibition, the fly entered the collection of the hat museum.
