Musée Légitime

A sound recording recounting a childhood memory. It refers to a book once kept on a low shelf in Carolyn’s grandparents’ home by the sea, within easy reach when she was a child. The memory recalls a story about a boy with many hats who is unable to remove his hat when the king passes; each time he does, a new one appears, and so on, eventually provoking the king’s anger for failing to follow the expected codes of behavior.
